Thank you for shopping at Hoto.life. We want your experience to be smooth and transparent. This Return & Refund Policy explains our rules for returns, replacements, refunds, and associated fees.
All HOTO India products are marketed and distributed by Sophus Technosol Pvt. Ltd.
1. Return & Replacement Window (7 Days)
We offer a 7-day return or replacement window from the date of delivery for eligible cases. Requests submitted after 7 days will not be accepted.
You are eligible for a return or replacement if:
- The product is defective or malfunctioning on arrival
- You received the wrong product or wrong model
- The product arrived physically damaged
Important: You must report issues within 7 days and provide photos/videos clearly showing the defect or damage.
2. Non-Defective Returns & Restocking Fee Policy
Non-defective returns are accepted on a case-by-case basis and are subject to a restocking fee.
Restocking Fee:
- A minimum 20% restocking fee will apply.
- The fee may increase depending on the condition of the returned product, packaging, or missing accessories.
Restocking Fee Applies To:
- Change of mind returns
- Opened or unsealed products
- Non-defective items returned without any functional issue
- Returns where the product box is damaged, missing stickers, or not in original condition
Non-defective returns that are not in resaleable condition may be rejected or charged a higher restocking fee.
3. Conditions for Ineligible Returns
Returns/refunds cannot be processed if:
- The product shows physical damage caused by customer misuse
- There is any unauthorized repair or modification
- Accessories, manuals, or original packaging are missing
- The product was used extensively or is not in returnable condition
- The return request is made after 7 days of delivery

- Provide photos/videos of the product and packaging
- Our team will verify eligibility within 1–2 business days
- Once approved, we will arrange pickup or advise courier drop-off
Please ensure the product is packed securely to prevent damage during return transit.
5. Refund Policy
Refunds are approved only if:
- The delivered product is defective and replacement is unavailable
- You received an incorrect product and replacement is unavailable
- An order is cancelled before dispatch
Refund Method:
- Prepaid orders: Refunded to the original payment method
- COD orders: Refunded to customer’s UPI ID or bank account
Refund Timeline:
- Verification: 1–3 business days
- Refund processing: 3–7 business days after approval
Refunds for non-defective returns (change of mind) will be issued after deducting the applicable restocking fee.
6. Replacement Policy
We will provide a replacement for eligible defective/damaged products if stock is available. If the product is unavailable, a refund will be issued.
Replacement is not provided if:
- The returned unit is damaged due to misuse
- Accessories or packaging are missing
- The product is not in acceptable physical condition
7. Cancellation Policy
- Orders can be cancelled before shipment for a full refund.
- Once dispatched, the order cannot be cancelled.
Refunds for cancellations are processed within 3–7 business days.
8. Warranty Support (12 Months)
All HOTO India products purchased via Hoto.life include a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.
The warranty does not cover:
- Physical or accidental damage
- Liquid damage
- Wear and tear of accessories
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
Warranty claims require proof of purchase, photos/videos, and product details.
